Lesson 2: Creating an Article

I will teach you how to create and format the articles in the website.

Now we will talk about how to format a singular article in this section. We are currently under the section we've created in the previous module, and we are going to format blog title one. First, we click into it. Then after it's done loading, we'll pay click on edit and paste the article given into the document.

Make sure that the texts are properly formatted like so. So as we see here, there's a lot of improper spacing between paragraphs. This will be very common. And make sure that the paragraphs are set into paragraph 2. Then we will write the title here.

Now we will add the little description that the author will provide in the very beginning. So the description goes here. Then we will enter six underscores.

Then we will type in the name and the year of the student. Make sure to add the apostrophe like so, and make sure it's oriented the right way.

Now to insert a photo, we will insert it here. You click on image, add an image. For the sake of this video, we will choose one from the library. We can choose an image photo right here. Click on add.

and the article will be ready.

Now to keep it consistent, as you can see, if we go back here, the article would still look like this with improper formatting and improper blurbs. So now we will go in to the section page, to the pages section, go into the sample new section one, go into blog content, click on the settings section for this article, and then edit your image.
